COLORFIRE, a sub-brand of Colorful, has built a reputation for its distinctive cartoon cat-themed "MEOW" designs, which are featured across graphics cards, motherboards, PC cases, and peripherals. At Computex 2025, TechPowerUp staff had the opportunity to explore COLORFIRE’s latest offerings, showcased at Colorful’s booth. This year, the company’s presence in Las Vegas marked a significant step toward expanding its reach beyond the Chinese market.

According to a recent report from VideoCardz, COLORFIRE’s B850M-MEOW WIFI V14 motherboard is set to receive an international release. While Chinese consumers have had access to this model for the past two months, with prices rising from the initial $120 to $134, global PC enthusiasts can now look forward to its availability.

Refined Design and Enhanced Features

The B850M-MEOW WIFI V14 is positioned as the successor to the earlier B850M MEOW WIFI Orange edition. While the previous model featured a bold and busy design with prominent cat mascots, text, and patterns, the new V14 version adopts a more refined aesthetic. The predominantly white motherboard is adorned with subtle cartoon paw prints and MEOW logos, offering a cleaner look that may appeal to a broader, especially Western, audience.

Beyond its updated appearance, the V14 brings several technical improvements. It features a robust 10+2+1 power phase design, an upgrade from the previous 7+2+1 configuration, ensuring better power delivery and stability. The motherboard now supports four DDR5 DIMM slots, providing greater memory capacity and performance for demanding applications. Additional enhancements include expanded rear panel connectivity and integrated Wi-Fi 7 support, catering to users seeking the latest in wireless networking technology.
