ASRock Introduces Radeon AI PRO R9700 Creator Graphics Card

ASRock has unveiled the Radeon AI PRO R9700 Creator graphics card. This card is powered by the PRO R9700 GPU recently launched by AMD, targeting both edge AI acceleration and professional visualization markets. The R9700 is built on the 4 nm "Navi 48" silicon, utilizing all 64 CU for 4,096 stream processors, 128 AI accelerators, and 64 RT accelerators. One notable difference from the RX 9070 XT gaming GPU is the memory capacity, with the PRO R9700 boasting 32 GB, double the size for handling large AI models. The card also supports PCI-Express Gen 5 memory pooling for workstations with up to four cards.

To ensure optimal performance, ASRock has designed the PRO R9700 Creator graphics card with a slim 2-slot form-factor and a lateral blower-based cooling solution. The card features cutouts behind the blower and backplate clearance to improve airflow to adjacent cards. It also includes a 16-pin 12V-2x6 power connector, located at the tail-end of the card for compatibility with 3U rackmount chassis installations. The card measures 27.1 cm in length and 11.1 cm in height, with four DisplayPort 2.1a outputs for display connectivity.
